In UzhNU, they will teach displaced persons how to do business
The purpose of the "My new Ukraine" project is to give IDPs basic knowledge and skills, to help them overcome psychological barriers regarding self-employment and starting their own businesses, the Media Center of UzhNU reported. They will be able to use the received knowledge upon returning to Luhansk and Donetsk regions or start their own business in Transcarpathian or other regions (this applies mainly to displaced persons from the Crimea).
The main areas of trainings:
- starting a business;
- generation and implementation of business ideas;
- development of the business plan;
- principles of marketing;
- accounting and reporting;
- financial analysis;
- personal finance management.
The classes will be conducted by UzhNU teachers, experts in specific economic or legal issues, community activists. Also, they will invite psychologists to the trainings. In addition to UzhNU, the organizers plan to engage to the "My new Ukraine" project public institutions (Transcarpathian region state administration, district state administration, associations of local governments), community groups and activists.
Currently, they are forming groups of participants of trainings for IDPs staying in Transcarpathia.
