Recently, border guards of the Chop detachment, at the checkpoint "Tisa", detained a citizen of Ukraine who was wanted and tried to illegally travel to Hungary.
About four o’clock in the morning, a car "Mercedes" with Ukrainian registration arrived at the border control. While checking the car and the people in it, border guards had suspicions about the passport of one of the passengers as to its authenticity and belonging to the bearer. Border guards conducted the examination of the document using special techniques and measures for identification of the man. As a result, it was found that of the passport did not belong to the bearer, and in late 2011, a court in the city of Chernivtsi issued an order for the arrest of this offender.
Border guards drew up a report on administrative violation against the man for an attempt to illegally cross the state border and handed him over to representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Office in Chernivtsi region.
