The average salary in the forestry sector is over 3,000 – Fizyk

This was announced during the briefing by the chief forester of the region Igor Fizyk.

Improved system of remuneration, organizational structure, effective use of forest resources and the introduction of new technology provided increased labor productivity by 19% over the previous year. Following the results of 2013, the average monthly salary is 3203 UAH, which is 324 UAH more compared to 2012.

– Our enterprises paid to the consolidated budget 48.9 million hryvnias of taxes, fees and charges. The growth compared to the same period in 2012 is 7.8 million hryvnias (19%). We paid to the pension fund the single social contribution in the amount of 44.8 million hryvnias. The growth compared to the same period in 2012 is over 7 million hryvnias.

Enterprises of the industry have no arrears of wages and taxes. 

In 2013, 187.8 million hryvnias were used for the forest management, of which 94% are own funds of forestry enterprises, about 6% (10.6 million hryvnias) are allocations from the state budget.
