“Mission – Executive Committee”, “hot” session of the city council continues… (Updated)

12.58 – The meeting of Uzhgorod City Council continues. 43 deputies registered. They will consider the issue of the executive committee.
 First, they want to dismiss two deputy heads.   Already 44 votes. The decision is adopted by 44 votes.Daniella Gevorgyan and Petro Kharevych are dismissed.

According to Victor Shchadey, there are 60 candidates for 12 vacancies in the executive committee.  

Deputy Nimchuk (UC) proposed that the executive committee should consist of 21 persons. He explained that the executive committee is like the government and the parliament.

Andriy Pogorelov proposed 60 members, Stepan Nimchuk – 21, Valentyn Voloshin (community activist) – 17. 

6 votes were given for proposition of Pogorelov, 36 votes – for Nimchuk’s proposition, 12 votes – for Voloshin’s proposition;
Thus, Uzhgorod city executive committee will consist of 21 people.

11 – from public, 10 – from political parties.

Break – until 10.00 tomorrow. Until then they will agree on 21 candidates out of 60.
