In Velyky Berezny district, villagers were stealing diesel fuel from the pipeline

Yesterday, security guards of the "PrikarpatZakhidtrans" subsidiary during the inspection of the pipelines, owned by the "Yugo-Zapad" JSC (Samara, Russia), in a wooded area in the Lypuvsky tract, at a distance of about half a kilometers from the village of Sil in Velyky Berezny district, at a depth of 30 cm in the ground, discovered an unauthorized old tie-in in the oil pipeline. The offenders welded to the trunk pipe a metal branch with a ball tap and two 15 meters long high pressure rubber hoses and one 2,500 meters long middle pressure hose connected to it, which were leading in parallel to the village of Sil. No oil leaks and threats of environmental pollution were detected.
