In Transcarpathia, officials will "deal with" hunting

In Transcarpathia, the Commission on game management and hunting has been formed. The relevant order was issued by the head of the RSA Oleksandr Ledyda on February 12. The governor appointed his deputy Mykhailo Popovich as the Chairman of the Commission, the Head of the Forestry and Hunting Departmen Igor Fizyk - as the Secretary. The commission also includes the head of the regional State Land Agency Oleksandr Antal, the head of the regional State Ecological Inspectorate Serhiy Rishko and others.

The Commission is an advisory body to the Governor, though it is endowed with many powers. Among other things, the Commission is entitled to receive from the state and local authorities, enterprises, institutions and organizations the information necessary to perform its tasks.

As you know, Transcarpathian Governor is a big fan of hunting. In 2011, the hunting club "Hubert", founded by the head of the region, received more than 3 hectares in Beregovo district for the maximum (as provided by law) term - 25 years.
