An accident in Lviv region: two Transcarpathians died...
In Lviv region, two people died in a road accident, another two were injured. The accident occurred yesterday, February 20, around 20.00 on the "Kyiv-Chop" highway (625th km).
According to preliminary information, the driver of a car VAZ-2109, a 32-year-old resident of Transcarpathia did not take into account road conditions, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a transport truck "Renault Magnum". The truck was driven by a 48-year-old resident of Hungary.
The accident killed two passengers of the passenger car - 20-year-old and 45-year-old residents of Transcarpathia.
The driver and another passenger of the car were injured and were taken to Skole Central District Hospital. Doctors diagnosed the driver with polytrauma, closed head injury and rib fractures. An 18-year-old passenger, a resident of the Transcarpathian region suffered hematoma, closed head injury and bruises on the legs - the press service of the Office of Traffic Police in Lviv region reported.
