At the beginning of 2015, the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC will conduct the recalculation of the cost of gas for customers who pay for gas according to meter readings. Depending on the amount of gas consumed over 2014, the price of a cubic meter for the next year will be determined. This will allow families, who have not exceeded the amount of 2.5 thousand cubic meters, to pay less for gas.
On average, the recalculation is conducted for 5.9% of consumers and mainly applies to household where gas is used for heating. The first quarter and October-November of 2014 were relatively warm, which contributed to a significant saving of gas. To confirm the transition from higher to lower category, it is necessary to have target value not only in December 2014, but in January 2015
The consumer is entitled to a recalculation of price category in six months, as of July 1. However, the consumption of natural gas in 6 months should not exceed 60% of the annual consumption corresponding to the price category which they want to switch to. In case of any disputes, related to such recalculation, a special commission has been established at the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC. You can file application to the Commission in district offices of the gas company.
Recalculation is an additional incentive for economical use of energy, because today in Ukraine, there is a limited supply of domestic natural gas, and the price for imported gas is very high.
