"Visegrad Four" will create a fund to support Ukraine
Countries of the "Visegrad Four" (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia) are planning to create a special fund to support Ukraine.
As the site of the Parliament, such statement was made during the meeting of foreign ministers of the four countries with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Oksana Syroyid.
The volume of the fund has not been specified. However, as was said at the meeting, this fund, among other things, is ready to provide 410 scholarships for Ukrainian students studying in these European countries.
During the meeting, the guests stressed on the need of serious reform across the country, including the establishment of independent media, constitutional reform, judicial reform and the principles of local self-government. In their opinion, all reform measures should be transparent and understandable to the public.
