Vasyl Hubal summed up 100 days in office: “I wish I had done more!” (PHOTOS)

The head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration invited representatives of the media to sum up his activity and to answer the most pressing questions on the life of the region. The occasion was that December 25 marks one hundred days since Vasyl Hubal was appointed as the head of the region. During a frank meeting with representatives of the leading regional media Vasyl Hubal said that he wished he had done a lot more than he did.

"I wish all our initiatives were already bringing results and people saw that we are working for them. I admit that some of my subordinates in the region are not committed to improving the lives of the countrymen. I hope that at the beginning of 2015 I will finally complete the team and those personnel decisions, that we are going to implement, will be brought to a logical conclusion. I am also talking about completing the management of the district state administrations – deputy heads. We feel a stubborn resistance because of the personnel policy – the resistance of members of the previous government. Sadly that some forces intend to destabilize the government and the region in general. I do not want to name names, I will just say that this is noticeable in districts and at the RSA" – Vasily Hubal said.

"I have said many times that I consider myself a firm patriot of Transcarpathia – of course, Ukrainian Transcarpathia. And the seat is not important for me, but the land is" – Vasyl Hubal said.

Then, the head of the region told reporters about major projects, which he plans to implement in the region, the energy-saving program that provides for retrofitting of public institutions for alternative heating, new strategy on waste management and in the forestry sector, new approaches to education and health care and so on.
