Uzhgorod District Hospital in the regional center is not going to be closed

The media reports that the "branch" of the District Hospital in Uzhgorod is planned to be closed were, to put it mildly, not entirely accurate.

Neither the district administration nor the district council of Uzhgorod district have such plans. The  reorganization project dealt only with technical issues of renaming, rather than liquidation of structural units. So Uzhgorod district clinic will continue to receive residents of the district in the regional center – the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration informed.

This issue is under the control of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal. In fact, the structure of the institution may be reviewed by the District State Administration and the District Council, this issue is the responsibility of local government of Uzhgorod district.
