Transcarpathian Zakhar Efimenko was the best Ukrainian chess player at the European Championship

The European Chess Championship has finished in Polish Wroclaw.

According to the official website of the Chess Federation of Ukraine, in the blitz competition, Zakhar Efimenko from Mukachevo showed the best result among Ukrainian participants.

The Transcarpathian grandmaster ultimately ranked the seventh. By the way, as of December 1, 2014, Z. Efimenko ranks eleventh among the top 100 players in Ukraine.

Also worth noting that international grand master from Lviv Andriy Volokitin was more fortunate. In rapid chess, he became the silver medalist of the European Championship.
