Transcarpathian volunteers visited the Tax and Customs Seminar

On Friday, December 26, in the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region, there was the National Seminar "Volunteering in Ukraine." The event was held in the form of a video-intercom, allowing participants to discuss important issues with volunteers from all over the country and representatives of fiscal services online.

During the seminar, volunteers of Transcarpathian region received from employees of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine the information concerning the features of data entry into the Register of volunteers of the antiterrorist operation, tax payment by individual volunteers, which volunteer’s incomes are not taxed on receipt of charitable assistance from individuals and entities and on payment of charity. They also learned whether they have to keep records and submit any reports, etc.

The participants discussed the issue of confidentiality of the ATO Volunteers Register and the possibility of cancelling publicity of this register.

An important topic of discussion was the Ukrainian legislation regarding the importation of goods from abroad. In particular, the volunteers received detailed information on the products which are not taxable, when imported into the customs territory of Ukraine, as well as the types of goods which are currently not allowed to be imported into the country.
