Transcarpathia will receive grants from Norway

December 17, the First Deputy Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Mykhailo Popovich took part in the second qualifying meeting of the Committee for Cross-border Cooperation with Ukraine under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism held in Bratislava.

Following the meeting, the participants selected for further implementation 17 projects worth almost 11 million euros.

Regions of Ukraine will also be the project participants.

Some of the approved projects are "Scientific and educational land "Sea Eye", "Friendship Slovakia-Ukraine", "Let's feel each other", "Culture and relationships - the path to cooperation between Ukraine and Slovakia", "Sustainable development of international biosphere reserve in the Eastern Carpathians", "Workforce development in border regions", "Innovative approaches in education "InovEduc", "International Cooperation in Youth Sport", "Environment protection as an opportunity for regional development", "Forests for communities - forests without barriers", "Ecovillage", "Generation of 2020", "The History and Historical Memory in the region Slovakia-Hungary-Ukraine", "RegioMap", "Cross-border cooperation in the transfer of new practical skills", "Study of the European integration project between Norway and Ukraine", "Planning of CBC between Slovakia and Ukraine."
