The main Christmas Tree of the region will be patriotic (Photofacts)

On Narodna Square, workers started to decorate the main Christmas tree of Transcarpathia. 

This year, decorations will be in the yellow and blue "patriotic" colors. 

Recall that the green beauty was brought from the Goverla, it was found in the Rakhiv State Forestry.

The Christmas tree chosen at a special "casting" is about six decades old, the slim and gorgeous tree reaches a height of 20 meters and is almost half-meter in trunk diameter.

By the way, for decoration of this year’s main Christmas tree in Transcarpathia, they are using existing fairy-lights and toys.

However, to give the holiday symbol new and more current look, big balls were "updated" – they acquired patriotic colors.

Thus, the main Christmas tree in Transcarpathia will feature the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

The solemn lighting of the main Christmas tree of the region will take place on St. Nicholas Day – tomorrow, December 19, at 14.30.
