MFA showed samples of biometric passports
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin demonstrated how new biometric passports will look like.
The Foreign Minister posted pictures of document samples on his Twitter.
"Came from the airport to work, and here they are. I will work to ensure that Ukrainians with these documents could go to many countries without visas" - Klimkin wrote.
It should be noted that the diplomatic passport already allow visa-free entry to the EU, biometric service passports will also give the right to visa-free entry.
However, regular biometric passports will not give such right until Ukrainian Government fulfills the Action Plan for visa liberalization.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs promised to start issuing biometric passports on January 1.
