Maksim Shatskikh: “Now, our top teams must work hard in every match”

Forward of Uzhgorod "Goverla" Maksim Shatskikh noted the increased competition in the championship of Ukraine.

"Now, a good thing in the Championship of Ukraine is that our top teams must work hard in every match. It used to be like this: there are 3-4 obvious favorites of the tournament, and then – the middle level. Now the "middle level" has improved a lot and play much more confidently in matches with the leaders.

For example, "Dynamo" rarely lost points in matches with Poltava, Odessa, Lugansk, but recently it has become usual thing. Even in the new championship, the Kyiv team could not handle "Olympic".

And "Shakhtar" would very rarely lose points in matches with Donetsk "Metallurg", and here they lose the game! And "Zorya" beat the champion too. I would also like to note that the Luhansk showed a good football in European competition too. I think it is something to be proud of" – the "Bolelshchyk" quoted Shatskikh.
