These dangerous holiday toys can cause injury to citizens, therefore commercial establishments must comply with trading rules, including compliance with the rules of storage of such products and prevention of sales of substandard goods without proper documents.

An entrepreneur was selling more than 252 firecrackers and 12 fireworks but did not have any documents that would confirm the legality of the sales of this category of explosive goods.

The owner of the fireworks was fined under Art.195-6 (violation of rules of production, storage, transportation, trade and use of fireworks) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences, which provides for punishment by a fine in amount of 35 to 60 times the tax-free minimum income with confiscation of fireworks.
