Clergy sent a SUV for Transcarpathian soldiers in the ATO area
The war in the East of the country causes pain in each caring heart. And Transcarpathians are among them. Support of our troops in the ATO area has become an extremely important task of the volunteer movement.
The funds for the purchase of the SUV were raised by the Coordination Center at the Vynogradiv district council, local businesses and sponsors, as well as Vynogradiv, Beregovo, Mukachevo, Perechyn Orthodox churches of Kyiv Patriarchate and the Transcarpathian Diocese headed by Bishop of Uzhgorod and Transcarpathia Cyril.
On the central Myr Square in Vynogradiv, there was the consecration of the SUV and an impromptu meeting. Pupils of Vynogradiv gymnasium, on behalf of all students, handed the volunteers pictures and letters to our heroes in the war area.
Then, everyone wrote their wishes on the flag of Ukraine, which was sent to the Brigade, stationed in the ATO area.
This car and related materials - food, cigarettes, spare parts for other military vehicles - was successfully delivered by volunteers Yevhen Ukhach, Vladislav Yatsyna and Bishop Cyril to the First Division of the 44th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where our countrymen from Vynogradiv district and Transcarpathia are serving under the command of the deputy commander for logistics Ruslan Nestoryshen.
