Vyacheslav Grozny "Koval must play to progress"
Yesterday, they officially confirmed the information about the transfer of young, talented goalkeeper of Kyiv "Dynamo" Maxim Koval to our Uzhgorod "Goverla." Maxim may play for the Transcarpathian team already this Friday, during the match of the 3rd round of the championship of Ukraine against Poltava "Vorskla".
According to the website of "Football 1" TV channel, the main goalkeeper of "Goverla" Oleksandr Nagy was injured, so Maxim Koval may replace him.
The head coach of Uzhgorod "Goverla" Vyacheslav Grozny commented on the transfer of Maxim Koval to his club on loan.
- I think, no coach in the Ukrainian Premier League would refuse from such goalkeeper. Koval is one of the best goalkeepers of the country, and for his age he has achieved a lot: played in European competition, became the main goalkeeper in the youth team, and was invited to the national team. But, in order to progress, Maxim must play, and for a team where he will have a lot of work. Everybody understands that the goal of "Goverla" is shot at more often than that of Dynamo. Despite his youth, Koval makes a good impression.
When we spoke with him, he did not ask me any questions on the subject, other than football, although Maxim probably heard a lot about our problems. It's great! I think he may become the main goalkeeper of "Goverla." The fact is that our main goalkeeper Oleksandr Nagy in the last championship match with Zaporizhzhya "Metallurg" was injuried and replaced. So he needs time to heal. Another our goalkeeper, Dima Babenko, with all due respect to him, is not ready yet to be the main goalkeeper. So I'm really counting on Maxim. Special thanks to him for agreeing to go to "Goverla" as well as the management and coaching staff of "Dynamo" that helped our team in difficult times.
And we will do our best to promote the progress of young players loaned from Kyiv. Remember that not so long ago Yevhen Makarenko and Vitaly Bujalsky played for us as on-loan players, and now they are in the main team of "Dynamo". Hopefully, the same will happen to Koval, Lyulka and other Dynamo reservists who are now working with us. I hope with time they will remember fondly the time spent in Uzhgorod - the "Segodnya" quoted Grozny.
