Prayer and vigilance keep the peace!

The head of Beregovo district administration Istvan Petrushka formally appealed to residents of Beregovo district not to yield to provocations.

In particular, he says: "I understand wives and mothers who worry about their husbands and sons and do not them to go to the ATO zone. So once again I want to stress that first we should man up military units that are situated in our region. So, our boys are not going to be sent in the East of Ukraine right now. Also, it should be noted that those who have received calls, first must undergo medical examination and military training. Unschooled, untrained men will not be sent to the front line of the ATO."

The head of the district state administration is convinced that the protests, that have taken place in our region, "delight our enemies", so he asks his countrymen "not to succumb to provocations by dishonest political forces! Panic and hostility are fueled by those who fear for their political future. They prey on the grief of our people!".

Because of this, Istvan Petrushka encourages residents of Beregovo district not to listen to provocateurs and enemies: "Do not spread false information claiming that Hungarians are forcibly taken to the army. Transcarpathia and Beregovo districts are parts of Ukraine, it is our fathers' land! We love our land because we have lived here from olden times, passing our inique culture, language, traditions from one generation to another...

Dear compatriots, keeping peace in our region is the best support for Ukrainian state and our soldiers. Our strength lies in unity. We must realize that no one will protect our home but us!".
