In Mukachevo, an unfair postwoman appropriated someone else's parcel
A 19-year-old postwoman forged the signature of the parcel recipient, thus appropriating another person's cell phone. A few days later, she sold it to the pawnshop.
A resident of Mukachevo reported to the city police that he had been cheated. The man said that on one of the Internet sites he had ordered a mobile phone for his daughter. Having paid for it, he was waiting for the parcel by the mail, but he never received it. Having checked the traffic of his goods, he saw that the goods were delivered to the recipient. Then he realized that he had been cheated, and turned to the police.
As the police found out, a young postwoman, abusing her official position and knowing that she was financially responsible for the content and delivery of the parcel, forged the signature of the recipient and appropriated the mobile phone "Nokia" costing 2,380 UAH. Two days later, she sold it to the pawnshop and spent the money...
The resident of Mukachevo, who previously had had no problems with the law, will be judged for her actions in court. The criminal proceeding has been opened under Part 2 and Part. 4 of Art.358 (forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, their distribution and use) and Part 1 of Art. 191 (misappropriation, embezzlement through abuse of office) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
