In Chop, 60 pills of the medication "Seduxen" was seized from a Hungarian
Officers of the Chop customs, at the customs post "Chop-railway", found on a citizen of Hungary 60 pills of the drug "Seduxen". The Hungarian was on his way from Hungary to Ukraine in private affairs by the passenger train "Zahony-Chop". The medication found by customs officers was in his travel bag together with other medicines.
"Seduxen" contains the active ingredient "diazepam", 5 mg in each pill. The citizen of Hungary was carrying it for his own use, but he did not indicate "Seduxen" in the customs declaration and did not mention it during the oral interview.
"Diazepam" is one of the substances which is restricted for distribution in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dd. May 6, 2000 № 770 (http://zakon4.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/770-2000-%D0%BF). However, at the moment of crossing the customs border of Ukraine, the citizen had no permits for import of "Seduxen". Thus, the citizen of Hungary did not declare to customs authorities accurate information about the carried items that must be declared and are restricted to transportation through the customs border of Ukraine.
Currently, the report on violation of customs regulations was drawn up against the citizen of Hungary, and the medication "Seduxen", being the direct object of violation of customs regulations, was seized.
