83 passengers were evacuated from Uzhgorod train station

Yesterday at 12.25, the officer on duty at the station "Uzhgorod" reported to Uzhgorod city police that an unknown person had called to Uzhgorod train station and said that in 30 minutes the railway station would be blown up.

The police bomb squad, dog training service, traffic police, personnel of Uzhgorod city police, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Emergencies Service arrived at the scene. 83 passengers and visitors, as well as 31 members of the staff were evacuated from the territory of the train station.

Following the inspection of the railway station, which was completed at 14.40, the report on the inspection of the facility was drawn up, whereby no explosives were found on the territory of the railway station.
