“Zakarpattyaoblenergo” is ready for dialogue, but urges to act within the law

The "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC is always ready for dialogue with the public, but urges to act only within the current legislation

Yesterday, April 15, there was a picketing of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC building in the village of Onokivtsi in Uzhgorod district. A group of people with posters came to the company and put a number of ultimatums before its management. Those are to cancel advance payments, to establish the principle of freedom of contract for the supply of electricity and so on. The Board of Directors of the company headed by the Deputy Director General of the "Zakarpttyaoblenergo" PJSC Artem Martynyuk gave detailed answers to protesters.

In particular, during the conversation with the protesters, Artem Martynyuk once again reminded that the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC is a licensee to supply electricity at regulated rates and acts only in accordance with the terms and conditions that are in force on the electricity market of Ukraine. Terms of electric power use, model contracts, tariffs and rates of standard connection are developed and set for manufacturers, suppliers and consumers by the National Commission for the State Regulation of Energy of Ukraine.

The Board of the "Zakarpattyaobelenergo" PJSC reminded that all the issues repeatedly raised by the protesters have been submitted by the Transcarpathian Regional Council to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Currently, there is the order of the Deputy Prime Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing Volodymyr Hroisman to the NCSRE to study the initiative of Transcarpathian deputies.

As for the all ultimatums, the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC emphasize that they are always ready for dialogue with the public, but also urge to act exclusively within the current legislation.
