Recently, workers of the National Park "Synevyr" released into the park water reservoirs fries of the brook trout and the char.
Conservationists have released more than 2,000 fries of brook trout into the Chorna Rika river and tributaries of the Tereblya - the Pessya, the Kanchivsky, the Yavorovets. And about 3,000 fries of the char have been released into artificial ponds. In these ponds, the fries will live for two years, then they will be released into the rivers of the national park.
In the waters of the National Park "Synevyr", there are 19 species of fish. Lake trout, brook trout, rainbow trout, Danube salmon and char are especially valuable. But because of the floods, especially in spring and autumn, and human pressure, their population is constantly decreasing.
In national park "Synevyr", they have created a trout farm for breeding of endangered species in the Chorna Rika, the Velyka Hropka tract. Here, there are all conditions for growing brook trout, lake trout, grayling and char - clean and clear water enriched in oxygen, appropriate water temperature.
The purpose of the artificial reproduction of fish is to increase the population of species in the rivers of the national park, and the Tereblya river and its tributaries are the ideal environment for further multiplication.
