Emergency medical care service of Transcarpathia received new vehicles
On Thursday, April 10, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Valeriy Lunchenko handed the keys to ambulances for emergency medical aid stations.
Since January 2013, the Transcarpathian regional center of emergency medical care has been financed at the expense of the regional budget. The Transcarpathian regional center includes 11 stations and 3 substations, 54 permanent and 1 temporary EMC crew bases with 97 crews.
As of March 1, 2014, the Transcarpathian regional center of emergency medical care was provided with all necessary fuel and lubricants, medicines and medical supplies.
In 2013, at the expense of the regional budget they purchased two ambulances of the "C" type for 1,696,000 UAH.
In 2013, at the expense of the state budget, according to the budget program "Development of Emergency Medical Care (purchase of medical transport) for the health care facilities of Ukraine", 31 vehicles were provided for Transcarpathia. Currently, the Transcarpathian regional center has received 22 ambulances based on the Peugeot Boxer, type B.
The head of the region also reviwed the work of the operational and dispatch service of the Transcarpathian regional center. The installation of the automated control system for ambulance services in the city of Uzhgorod, as well Uzhgorod, Perechyn, Velyky Berezny districts is completed. 28 ambulances are equipped with GPS-navigators. This system simplifies and speeds up the arrival of vehicles to a place a call. They plan to connect to the automated control system of ambulance service the rest of the district in the region.
