During Ledyda's term, Borzhava meadows were privatized
Members of Mizhhirya district council claim that during the rule of the Party of Regions in Transcarpathia, Borzhava meadows were illegally privatized.
According to the available information obtained by Mizhhirya District Council from Mizhhirya District Police, it was found out that only in Richka village council, officers of the Main Office of the State Land Agency in Transcarpathian region allocated and transferred to private ownership the land in area of 105.96 acres outside of the village of Richka, located at the foot of Borzhavska valleys.
According to the project for sharing of the land in the collective ownership of the "Play" agricultural enterprise in the village of Richka in 1997, the land in area of 105.96 hectares is an equity land, and citizens with certificates of land share have the right for that land.
Thus, according to deputies, officers of the Main Office of the State Land Agency in Transcarpathian region, in violation of the transitional provisions, illegally allocated and granted 26 land plots in total area of 105.96 hectares, thus causing the shareholders of the "Play" agricultural enterprise damage for a total of almost half a million hryvnias.
According to the received preliminary information, during 2013 - 2014, outside villages of Richka and Pylypets in Mizhhirya District, they allocated and transferred 180 land plots into private ownership of individuals and legal entities. Currently, the legality of the transfer of these plots is being verified.
At the last session of Mizhhirya district council deputies appealed to the prosecutor of Transcarpathian region with the request to take urgent action to secure the return of the land to communities of villages which will decide on their further use
