The youth Olympics in Alpine skiing will be held on the Pylypets

February 10, the Pylypets resort will host the open School Olympics of Transcarpathia "Young Spartacist" in ski racing and Alpine skiing among boys and girls over 17 years.

In ski racing athletes will be competing in three age groups:

I group - boys and girls born in 1995-97

II group - boys and girls born in 1998-99

III group - boys and girls born in 2000 and younger

Competition program:

I group - free style: boys - 5 km, girls - 5 km;

II group - freestyle: boys - 5 km, girls - 3 km;

III group - freestyle: boys - 3 km, girls - 2 km.

In Alpine skiing competitions two age groups will participate:

I group - boys and girls born in 1998-99

II group - boys and girls born in 2000 and younger.

The program will include slalom competition on 600 m track, elevation - 120 m. The participants will have 2 attempts.

The competitions will be held within the State targeted social program for development of physical culture and sports for 2012-2016.
