Prosecutors will investigate into the "railway" drama

The pre-trial investigation over the accident at the railway track has been instituted. The course of the investigation has been taken under control of the Transcarpathian prosecution to oversee the observance of laws in the field of transport. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
According to the Transcarpathian prosecutor to oversee the observance of laws in the field of transport Igor Syekhin, a young man while being intoxicated fell asleep on the sleepers between the rails and was injured by a passenger train.
As a result of the accident, the victim received severe injuries, including open head and brain injury. He was delivered to the intensive care unit of Mukachevo District Hospital, where he still is in a critical condition.
For the record: December 31, 2012 the machinist of the train "Budapest-Moscow" on the stretch Kolchyno-Mukachevo used emergency braking to prevent hitting a 26-year-old Transcarpathian who, while being intoxicated, had fallen asleep on the sleepers. However, he could not avoid causing injuries.
