Irshava police has a new chief

January 16, the Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region, police colonel Vasyl Bukovchanyk introduced to the personnel and management of the district the acting chief of Irshava District Police Department, Lt. Mykola Kurytsya.
Mykola Kurytsya was born in 1972 in Khust district, in the village of N.Bystre. He studied at the special police school in Ivano-Frankivsk, and graduated from the Carpathian Law Institute of the MIA. He started his service in the police force in 1993 in Beregovo police station. In 1995 he was appointed to the post of district police officer. Two years later – as operative of criminal investigation department. From 2004 to 2006 he headed the Division of Criminal Investigation.From 2008 he has worked as the first deputy chief of Beregovo district police. Married.  Has two daughters.
He has been awarded with insignia of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
