In Uzhgorod, the journalism award named after Yosyp Terelya will be presented

January 15th, there will be the fourth awarding of the journalism prize of Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese named after Yosyp Terelya.

The ceremony will be held at the residence of bishops in Uzhgorod at 16.00, with the participation of Milan, Bishop of Mukachevo, who chairs the commission of the award.

This award honors for journalistic publications that promote spiritual values, historical truth, active citizenship, assert the principles of tolerance and mutual respect in society.The journalist prize of the well-known human rights activist Yosyp Terelya, who spent over 20 years in a Soviet prison for his beliefs, was founded by Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese.Moreover, journalists will be presented the new auxiliary bishop of Mukachevo Greek Catholic Diocese, Bishop Neil.

The participants will be entertained by the choir of Uzhgorod parish of All Saints.
