45 newspapers and 41 non-governmental organizations were registered last year in Transcarpathia

This, in summing up the year, was reported by the Department of Justice in the Transcarpathian region.

In 2012 the Department of Justice in the Transcarpathian region registered 41 local NGOs, 9 structural formations of political parties, 17 local charities and one permanent court.

8 local NGOs and 14 local branches of national organizations were legalized by written notice of the establishment. Also 8 decisions to cancel the legalization of community groups were adopted.

Also the Department during 2012 registered (reregistered) 45 print local media and recognized certificates of state registration (reregistration) for 7 media as being invalid.
