This year, more than 13 million hryvnias are provided for the program of education development in Transcarpathia, half a million – for out-of-school education, 250 thousand – for the higher education. The funding for the development of vocational education and work with talented students has also been approved. Also 3,600,000 UAH are to be allocated for the construction of 18 playgrounds.
These data were reported by the Director of Education, Youth and Sports Department of the Regional State Administration Mariana Klyap at the meeting of the Standing Committee of Regional Council on education, science, culture, spirituality, youth policy, physical culture and sports, minorities and information policy.
