September 22, as part of the "European Mobility Week", initiated by Volovets village council and with the assistance of NGOs "FORZA", "Native Transcarpathia", Association "Shipot", a bike ride along the route Volovets – Zhdeniyevo – Volovets took place for third time.
It began with a medical examination of candidates for bicycle ride, Volovets municipal authority reported. Then, the peleton, carrying the Volovets flag, rode through the streets of the town and accompanied by police cars, medical and technical support vehicles proceeded along the 50-kilometer route. It consisted of 22 bike enthusiasts led by Volovets town head, Volovets school students, veterans and guests from Kyiv, representatives of tourist facilities from nearby Mizhhirya district, as well as children from the family type orphanage in Pidpolozzya.The youngest participant was only 10, and the oldest one – 64 years! The bicycle ride ended with sweet gifts.
