Uzhgorod tour was held “on the spot” (PHOTOS)

September 22, another open tour was held on Teatralna Square in Uzhgorod.

"Uzhgorod of Captain Alois" was the theme of the tour, and the guide was Doctor of History, Professor of the History of Ukraine Department of UzhNU Serhiy Fedaka.

The tour was based on the adventure novel by Uzhgorod writer and journalist Oleksandr Havrosh, which contains elements of detective, mystery, romantic adventure, fiction, humor (even satire), and of course, history.

Oleksandr Havrosh described a peculiar mythology of Uzhgorod as the city combined with the history of the XIX century, which was conveyed to Uzhgorod residents by Serhiy Fedaka.

For several hours the guide was talking about the cemetery on Kapushanska street, the old hotel on S.Petofi square, known and unknown cellars of the city. However, the guide did not go anywhere, he told everything on the central square near the Transcarpathian Regional Puppet Theater "Bavka."

Almost fifty Uzhgorod residents, who were present, listened to the guide enthusiastically and occasionally commented: "I need to read the book."

Pity that the author Oleksandr Havrosh was not there…
