Ukraine went up in the ranking of happiness

Ukraine ranked 87th in the ranking of countries in terms of happiness of their citizens. In general, 156 countries were assessed in the ranking. Last year, Ukraine was on the 91st position.

The happiest countries are Denmark (1st place), Norway (2nd place), Switzerland (3rd place), the Netherlands (4th place), Sweden (5th place). 

Canada is on the sixth place, Australia - 10th, Israel - 11th, U.S. - 17th. United Kingdom is on the 22nd position, Germany - on 26th, Japan - 43th, Russia - 68th, China - 93rd.

World Happiness Report was published for the second time at the request of the UN.

For the calculations, they took into account six indicators: GDP per capita, life expectancy, the presence of a person you can rely on, the freedom to make life decisions, freedom from corruption and generosity.

The least satisfied with their life are residents of Rwanda, Burundi, Central African Republic, Benin and Togo.
