Transcarpathian students will be taught "Basics of tax knowledge"
Today in Uzhgorod secondary specialized boarding school with advanced study of certain subjects, the Head of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region Vasyl Ivancho and the Deputy Director of the Regional Department - the Head of pre-school, secondary and adult education department Hanna Sopkova presented students a new special course - "Basics of Tax Knowledge".Through the special course, the Ministry of Income of Ukraine, together with the specialists of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will promote a positive image of honest taxpayers and improve voluntary compliance.The special course includes four main sections. The first section is devoted to the history of the taxes, the main phases of the development of Ukraine's tax system and tax policy today. The state tax policy and tax mechanisms will be explored in the second sections, the basics of tax law and principles of the tax system - in the third one.The fourth section will help children to learn their rights and responsibilities as full participants of tax relations, given that very soon they will be receiving stipends, salaries or other form of income and thus acquire the status of the taxpayer.So, in the classes on new special course, future taxpayers will gain practical experience in economic behavior and interaction between participants of tax legal relations that are important for the sustainable development of society as a whole. At the end of the presentation, the Head of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region Vasyl Ivancho addressed schoolchildren, wished that they clearly realized what difficult path our country overcame to gain independence, and expressed sincere hope that they would continue to develop our country according to European standards.Source - Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region
