Transcarpathian migrant workers will have to open additional accounts

Members of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg introduced to the State Duma a bill that requires foreigners entering Russia without visas to possess on the date of entry the funds in amount not less than six times the subsistence minimum established in the Russian Federation, the RIA Novosti reported

Since now the subsistence minimum in Russia is 6131 rubles, the sixfold sum will amount to more than 36 thousand rubles.

This amount should be put on a bank account, and the "traveler" will have to provide the documented proof of the availability of the money.
