In connection with the public outcry that arose around the newspaper "Nedilya", the regional office of the Ministry of Income defend their employees. "Actions of the tax police officers have been and are carried out exclusively within the Criminal Procedural Code and have nothing to do with the newspaper "Nedilya".Experts of the Ministry of Income acted within their authority, without using any means of psychological pressure and other dubious methods" - the statement reads.

 In addition, officers of the Ministry of Income claim that "statements about the pressure on the newspaper "Nedilya" are unfounded.However, we believe that the publication of the information that the tax police are allegedly "terrorizing" the newspaper is the pressure on the investigation and the method of defense involving the public and damaging the image of the authority that carries out its functions in accordance with the law".
