The exhibition of book illustrations was held in Kyiv
Recently, in the National Museum of Literature of Ukraine (Kyiv, Bohdan Khmelnytsky str., 11), there was the exhibition of book illustrations "How books come alive."
7 artists for the first time presented the original paintings that became illustrations for children's books that were published during 2009 - 2013.
Among the exhibited works, there were artworks of Svitlana Fesenko for the children's book by Transcarpathian artist Oleksandr Havrosh "Dido-Vsevido" which was presented in Kyiv at the III International Festival "Book Arsenal".
Last month, a new children's book by Oleksandr Havrosh was among the five "Books of August" in the review of the "Ukrainska Pravda".
Next week, "Dido-Vsevido" will be presented at the XX Publishers' Forum in Lviv.
Visitors are also invited to chat with the authors of the books at the theatrical experiment "Carpathian noir with Dido-Vsevido" on September 14 at 17.00 in the black hall of the "Voskersinnya" theater (General Hryhorenko sq., 5).
