Pogorelov still believes in "miracle"
Uzhgorod mayor has not signed the ban on building in the "rebellious" park. This was reported in the social network Facebook by the deputy of Uzhgorod City Council Vasiy Hnatkiv. The deputy suspects that Victor Pogorelov is deliberately delaying the signing until a decision of the court, "organized" by the developers.
"After a positive and effective voting, that confirmed the victory of citizens, the Mayor announced the break so that Uzhgorod residents could leave the session hall.
But not all residents wanted to leave because they simply did not believe that the Mayor would sign those resolutions... After all, voted decisions enter into force after they are signed by the mayor, - V. Hnatkiv said. - Therefore I twice approached Mr. Pogorelov... and twice offered him to sign the adopted resolutions.
His answer to me was something like this:
"I will sign the resolutions today. I promise you! Don't you believe me...?! You don't believe me...?? I said that I would sign them today, and I will!"
Ultimately, the mayor has not signed the resolutions. While explaining that, according to V.Hnatkiv, in a telephone conversation he was saying something about his clerks and legal nuances.
