Medical commissions will appear in Transcarpathian schools

The mandatory medical examination of first-graders, that was introduced last year, caused queues at clinics before the beginning of the school year. Taking that into account, this year, it was decided to conduct examinations at schools. This was informed to uzhgorod.in by the Director of Education, Youth and Sports Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Marianna Klyap.

"The commissions, which will include specialized experts, will be conducting medical examinations of students at schools, – Ms. Mariann said. – Thus, physical education teachers, for example, will have the necessary information about state of health of their students."
