Life with the book. The XX International Publishers Forum began in Lviv
Each book is like a whole world. The twentieth jubilee Publishers Forum continues in Lviv. It is the major literary event in Ukraine. The Forum will last for 4 days and predictably will gather tens of thousands of visitors. This year, the literary festival in Lviv, in addition to Ukrainian writers and poets, will be attended by many foreign artists. Specifically, Jeremy Strong - British children's author. In Ukraine, 8 of his works were published. Also, Transcarpathian literature, that is growing every year, is widely represented at the 20th festival.
Oleksandr Havrosh, Dmytro Fedaka, Miroslav Dochynets, Andriy Lyubka and many others represent Trancarpathian literary elite in Lviv.
"The grand opening ceremony was very solemn. Even the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Poland were present, because this year Poland is the official visitor of the literary fair. The program is very rich, there are hundreds of events - writer Oleksandr Havrosh said in a telephone interview. - I think Transcarpathia will be well represented this year. Our region in recent years has been actively involved in various artistic activities: recitings, autograph sessions, presentations, and a variety of discussions."
However, there is a notable crisis in the book business. Several Transcarpathian publishers were unable to go to the forum in Lviv.
