Five illegal immigrants were climbing the mountains
The first day of the work week was marked for border guards of the "Stuzhytsya" unit of Chop detachment with another detention of illegal migrants.
Velyky Berezny district border guards received a warning information about the group of unknown persons who were heading to the border. This made it possible to efficiently plan and carry out an operation to detain the "intruders".
The offenders, who were confidently marching to the Ukrainian-Slovak border, were arrested on the outskirts of the village of Stuzhytsya. There were five of them - three men and two women. As is usual in such cases, the detainees were not carrying any documents and told the border guards that they were citizens of Syria. They did not clearly state the destination of their journey, but said that they were heading to the EU.
The detainees were taken to the unit, and the relevant administrative and procedural documents for trying to illegally cross the border were drawn up. Their further fate and responsibility under the law will be determined by the court.
