During January - August 2013, the tax service has received 45 written submissions (including 3 collective ones), which is 7 submissions more than that for the same period in 2012. Mostly citizens asked to explain some of the current tax law provisions and informed of tax law violations.
The management of the inspectorate focuses on personal communication with citizens. Such communication helps to create a sense of mutual respect, understanding and security. For example, officials of the STI in Uzhgorod, during January-August 2013, have conducted 48 personal appointments with citizens.
In addition, the STI in Uzhgorod provides public access to public information in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On access to public information", which determines the order of implementation and ensuring of the right of everyone to access information in the possession of government agencies, other administrators of public information and information of public interest. Thus, in January-August 2013, the STI in Uzhgorod has received 5 requests for information and provided satisfactory answers within the legally stipulated period.
