uzhgorod.in reported that the land conflict in Uzhgorod has reached its climax.

Now disabled veterans are also defending the park on Dostoevsky-Hodynka streets.

"Yesterday, September 12, Uzhgorod City Organization of the All-Ukrainian organization of disabled veterans, military officers and combatants, at the request of disabled veterans and widows of deceased persons with disabilities who live at Dostoevsky st., 2 and Hodynka st. 8, appealed to the Chairman of Uzhgorod City Council V. Pogorelov, the prosecutor of Uzhgorod and the NGO "Young Initiative of Uzhgorod" to prevent the construction in their only park, which is primarily a place of rest for them, for elderly people and mothers with children" - human rights activist Vitaliy Gregor wrote on his facebook page.
