Another tie-in in the pipeline

Two unauthorized tie-ins in the pipeline, owned by a Russian company, were found these days by the police of Uzhgorod and Mukachevo district.

Inspecting the pipeline, owned by the company from the Russian city of Samara, security guards of the private enterprise "Prykarpatzakhidtrans" found an illegal an tie-in in the pipe in a field near the village of Orikhovytsya in Uzhgorod district. The offenders cut into the pipe at a depth of five meters, and welded a valve to it.

A similar unauthorized tie-in was found in a field near the village of Barkasovo in Mukachevo district. But in this case, a hose was attached to the valve welded into the pipe.

The security service of the company reported both incidents to the police, and the investigative team arrived at the scene. No diesel fuel leaks and threats to surrounding environment have been detected. It seems that those tie-ins had not been used for a long time, but the police are looking for those who made them anyway.
