A two-month-old baby died because of lung birth defect - the Health Department
A number of electronic publications published articles by journalist Ivan Ladzhun titled "Mysterious death of a two-month-old child", "In Uzhgorod, a 2-month-old baby died on the way from the hospital" about the death of a two-month-old baby, who, according to 26-year-old father of the child, died on the way home from the hospital.
The facts contained in this publication are not true - the press center of the Health Department in Transcarpathian region reported.
According to the chief physician of the regional children's hospital Yelizaveta Birov and the deputy chief physician of the Uzhgorod City Children's Hospital Yellizaveta Lyakh, the child, who was mentioned in the publication, was born prematurely with a body weight of 1.300. The baby was transferred from Uzhgorod maternity hospital to the Regional Children's Hospital in Mukachevo, where it was treated until August 20.
September 5th, the child was examined by a doctor, no health concerns were detected. Then, it was recommended to undergo routine laboratory examination and consultation with neurologist, ophthalmologist, podiatrist in Uzhgorod child clinic from 9 to 13 September.
September 8 at 6 am, the mother fed the child, then the child fell asleep. At about eighth o'clock, the mother noticed that the baby had turned blue.Together with relatives, they drove the child to the emergency department, where the death was stated.
Forensic experts determined that the cause of the child's death was congenital lung defect.
