Two pedestrians were injured in an accident in Rakhiv district

October 22, around 19:30 in the village of Velyky Bychkiv in Rakhiv district, a 56-year-old driver, driving a car "Toyota Prado", drove onto the sidewalk and ran over two pedestrians. Local residents, who witnessed the accident, called the police and reported that the driver was going to run away from the scene of the accident. The traffic police immediately arrived at the scene and brought the driver to the hospital, where doctors performed blood sampling to determine the alcohol content.

As a result of the accident, all persons involved were injured.

A further investigation continues - the Traffic Police Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported.
